We had an incredible week! Ben came over & watched General Conference w/ us in the Leonard’s home & then we were able to teach him afterwards! He’s such a stud, he’s in the book of Jacob now and we told him about Captain Moroni a little bit & he changed the background on his phone to Moroni w/ the Title of Liberty haha! What a baller!
I got to go on an exchange w/ Elder Gillette yesterday & it was our first time being back together since being in the MTC together 20 months ago! We got to teach a few appointments together & it was great, Elder Gillette is an amazing teacher & does a great job testifying while he teaches, it was good to be back together!
Also got to go on an exchange w/ Elder Hughes which was a ton of fun! We helped out a man w/ cleaning up a backyard & getting a bunch of logs out of it. He was super grateful & funny. We also went to the temple & did baptisms w/ someone he taught in Wellington so it was nice being in the temple & we baptized each other!
We did lots of service for a brother in our ward named Cliff. He’s been keeping us real busy which has been good cause it’s really hard to find service in this area. We’ve been helping him out w/ a lot of landscaping at his home, it’s been really great, we love Cliff!
It was a great week, I’m so grateful for the members we have to work w/ in our wards! They’re so loving towards us & willing to help out. Still waiting on people to hit me up w/ some creative new questions to ask people on the streets...
