What a beautiful week! We had snow & then sunny & 75 in the same week. I love Colorado. I got to go on exchanges w/ Elder Gillette this week, he’s such a baller & does such a great job testifying along w/ his companion.
Sunday was an incredible day! I had the honor of speaking on Mother’s Day. A day which we celebrate the women in our lives who have had impacts in developing us into whom we are today. I was truly humbled to be able to speak & focused on women who have helped me learn & understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I am so grateful for all the motherly influences in my life.
Also on Sunday we had 3 new non members come to church, all of which had been invited by members in our ward. It was such a cool miracle! The members are extending invitations and seeing the joys & miracles from it! We hope to be able to start teaching them & that they’ll come to church again.
Lots of service this week which I never get tired of. The Lord has been blessing us w/ opportunities to serve cause when we got here there was no service opportunities.
One miracle from this week was the Norviels whom Elder Ufland & I worked w/ in Cheyenne were sealed in the temple on Saturday and I got to see Tracy & talk w/ him a little about that which was a huge tender mercy. So happy for them.
Yoboi finessed the Transfer Van On Friday so we were able to whip that over the weekend. Then yesterday we had our Zone Conference in Longmont & used it to shuttle the whole TrilBike District down. Zone Conference was focused on, “Follow The Brethren.” Reminded me of the importance of personal revelation in our lives today. President McMurray said that General Conference is like receiving another New Testament every 6 months.” Thought that was super cool. Personal revelation is a major key. Quote below is evidence of that.
President Russell M. Nelson said in April last year,
“In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.”
