Today was so sick! We
went and toured Zephyr Hats in Loveland cause the guy who owns it lives out
here and is a convert to the church of 10 years and in the Windsor Ward. So we
went there for district P Day. He was so cool and showed us all around and told
us about the business and let everyone pick out a couple hats to take home at
the end. Yo boi even finessed him into hooking me up with a shirt haha. One of
the dopest parts of my mission ( that isn’t missionary work) so far!
21 Years Yung! I had
my birthday on Saturday, and can say that it was an amazing day, and I saw
miracles! I went on exchanges with Elder McFadden and we went out contacting/tracting
all day. The miracle came when we contacted this less active woman named Jan
who started crying instantly when she opened the door and saw us. She told us
how she was just thinking of us that morning and wished we would come around
more. She said she felt as though nobody loved her cause she wasn't getting
visited by people from the church and missionaries weren't coming around
anymore (Elder Litster and I tried contacting her all the time she was just
never home) But so that was a miracle and we set up a time to go back and teach
her. After that we went and saw a woman named Teressa who had just recently
lost her father and found comfort in our words of Christ and the Book of
Mormon. We are going to go back and teach her this week. It was a wonderful
birthday I was able to work hard and forget myself.
We taught Tanya
(single mother with 3 kids) and her family on Monday night about the Book of
Mormon. We testified that Christ's true church was back on the earth today and
the way she can come to know of that is through the Book of Mormon. She was so
excited to hear Christ's church is back on the earth today and was excited to
read the Book of Mormon! We're gonna follow up with them this week.
Love y'all
